Vineyard: Ojo de Agua, Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza // Altimari, Valle de Uco. Located in Alto Agrelo, at the foothills of Andes Mountain range at more than 1000 m above sea level of altitude. Native alluvial soil. Grown on a 15 year old organic vineyard, with high density of vines (4'200/h), and low yield (7'000 Kg/ha a 10'000 Kg/aa. A drip irrigation assures that each plant receives the exact amount of water necessary.
Winemaking: Fermented in concrete vats. Part of the wine undergoes a prolonged maceration to maximize structure in the mouth. Finally, it rests in French oak barrels 12 months to achieve the perfect balance
Tasting Notes: Color > Violet red with intense ruby tones. Aroma > Plum and blackberries, spiced and smoked notes. Flavor > Complex and bold, without loosing any elegance. A distinguished wine that will make you want to drink a second glass
