This blend of Grenache, Tempranillo, and Carignan was sourced from various plots, ranging from 35 to 45 years old. The Tempranillo and Carignan are aged for 12 months in French oak barrels while the Garnacha spends 12 months in American oak barrels. After careful selection and blending, this Reserva is stored in a bottle for an additional 24 months before release.
Smoky red fruit and floral pastille scents are complemented by dried rose and pipe tobacco. Smooth and seamless on the palate, offering gently sweet raspberry and mocha flavors and a touch of peppery spices. Dry on the finish, which is firmed by dusty tannins.
