Dark plum, licorice and spicy vanillin aromatics.
Palate Rich black cherry, plum and fruit of the forest layers encased in fine, dusty tannins with smoky roasted chestnut, vanilla and tabacnotes.
Serve At room temperature 16-20°C

Richly flavoured dishes, red meats and game. Beef, venison, goat, pheasant, chorizo. Red wine, pepper and reduction sauces.
100% Estate grown from the rich loams of Siegersdorf vineyard in the heart of Barossa Valley. Altitude 250-270m
A warm, dry Spring and Summer season saw beautiful ripening in the Barossa. Sunny days and cool nights saw excellent quality with perfumed aromatics and generous flavour development.
Minimal intervention, handpicked, destemmed and fermented on skins for 7 days with pump overs twice daily. Handcrafted in small parcels to exacting quality standards in our state of the art winemaking facility. Malolacticfermentation and maturation in barrel. Blended and lightly filtered before bottling.
Maturation 18 months in large French oak foudresand barrels.
