ORIGIN: Marchigüe, Colchagua Valley.
PRODUCTION: 1,100 cases. • YIELDS: 10 ton / ha. • SOIL TYPE: of granitic origin with variable degrees of clay content and good drainage • VINE AGE: 8 years. • HARVEST PERIOD: began on February 16. • HARVEST TYPE: hand picked in the morning. • BARREL AGING: none. • TECHNICAL DETAILS Alcohol: 13.0° pH: 3.20 TA: 4.1 gr/lt expressed in sulfurous acid RS: 1.5 gr/lt Free SO2: 26 mg/lt Total SO2: 112 mg/lt VINIFICATION: The grapes were hand picked, and selected bunches were deposited into the press without destemming. The must was racked and fermented with selected commercial yeasts at 14º–16º in stainless steel tanks. Upon completion of fermentation, the lees are stirred for 2 months to liberate mannoproteins. TASTING NOTES: Color: greenish-yellow. Aromas: citrusy with subtle herbal notes that recall fresh-cut grass and tomato leaf. Flavors: fresh and flavorful with good balance and pleasing persistence. BEST CONSUMED: from August of the harvest year. WINEMAKER: Johana Pereira.
