Appearance: Deep purple with a dense, dark core.
Aroma / Bouquet: Intensely perfumed violet, vanilla bean, plum and black liquorice aromatics.
Palate: Magnificent Shiraz from historic old vine terroir grounded in ancient Barossa Valley soil. Plush black mulberry, plum jam and fruitcake flavours threaded with chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon spice. Deeply concentrated and opulent with ripe, velvet tannins. A wine of extraordinary power and majesty.
Cellar: Long term cellaring potential, peak drinking now, up to 15-20 years.
