VARIETIES: 85% Syrah; 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. • ORIGIN: Paredones. Colchagua Valley. • PRODUCTION: 555 cases. • YIELDS: 5 ton / ha. • SOIL TYPE: granitic with good drainage. • VINE AGE: planted in 2009. • HARVEST PERIOD: Syrah: April 9; Cabernet Sauvignon: March 20. • HARVEST TYPE: hand picked in the morning. • BARREL AGING: none. • TECHNICAL DETAILS Alcohol: 13.0° pH: 3.2 TA: 3.50 gr/lt expressed in sulfurous acid RS: 3.9 gr/lt Free So2: 18 mg/lt Total So2: 170 mg/lt VINIFICATION: Whole cluster pressed without maceration. The varieties were vinified separately. Racked to 100 ntu and fermented at 14ºC in stainless steel tanks. Upon completion of fermentation, the coarse solids were removed, leaving only the fine lees. TASTING NOTES: A delicious, seductive, and intriguing Rosé made in a very feminine style that impresses with its mild fruity aromas after some time in the glass. Subtle purplish-pink color. Fresh, sweet, and fruity nose with delicate aromas of cherries and a bit of citrus. Silky and persistently fresh palate. Limited production. BEST CONSUMED: Within three years of bottling.
