Prosecco Riondo DOC Italy
This light and frothy Prosecco is made predominately from Glera, with a small dollop of other local grape varieties. Produced in the Charmat method, the wine goes through a brief re-fermentation in pressurized stainless-steel tanks before bottling. Cuvee 16 contains 16 grams per liter of residual sugar.
Frizzante has between 2.5 and 3.5 bars of atmospheric pressure in the bottle, thus offering very gentle bubbles compared to Spumante, which has 5 to 6 bars of atmospheric pressure.
