A recommendation connected to Swiss rock guitarist Leo Leoni led me to Sacha Pelossi and Cantina Pelossi in Ticino. As a guitarist myself, I was intrigued — but it was the wines that ultimately convinced me.
During my personal visit and tasting with Sacha, I selected three wines for our customers in Hong Kong: Lamone Merlot Riserva, an elegant Swiss red whose blackberry aroma brought back memories of my upbringing in the Swiss Alps; Sassarei Merlot Bianco, an intriguing and easy-drinking white Merlot; and Bianco della Piana, a serious white wine made for fine dining.
